I am always inspired and driven by some challenge that I give myself – a problem to solve, spacially, conceptually or in construction. I am also interested in the idea of instigating some process of thought, or a conversation in my viewers.
My personal way of working is more related to sculpture than anything – I explore my ideas through experimentation and I build improvising and problem-solving as I go, not according to a pre-determined plan. This process is what allows me to connect with what I make and for me, adds value both to the process and to the work.
